THE DAME OF LOVE

The door to my heart was closed and locked,
Someone passed by and gently knocked.
The wind of love, it blew inside,
And though I tried, I could not hide.
The door was then flung open wide,
The Dame of Love, she stepped inside.

The heart and mind is your domain,
So is the blood flowing in each vein.
Each breath I take, cries out your name,
Your face has put the moon to shame.
How did you come, when had you knocked?
When was the door to heart unlocked…?
